She graduated with a diploma in dental technology from the University of Damascus in 1992.

She moved from Syria to Dubai in 1999.

Her father was a journalist and her mother was a maths teacher.

In September 2017 she posted a photo with Maya Diab while covering the opening of a new cosmetics store.
