ABOUT THEODOSIUS DOBZHANSKY
Pioneer in the field of evolutionary biology who is known for his work in shaping the unifying modern evolutionary synthesis. He published his revolutionary work, Genetics and the Origin of Species, in 1937.
He attended the University of Kiev from 1917 to 1921.
He was the recipient of the National Medal of Science in 1964.
He married geneticist Natalia Sivertzeva in 1924.
He received the National Medal of Science the same year that Robert Woodward did.
