ABOUT THEODOROS PAPHITIS

Greek-Cypriot British entrepreneur who rose to fame for his ability to turn failing companies around. He established the lingerie chain Boux Avenue in 2011, and the UK hardware retailer Robert Dyas the following year. He appeared on the entrepreneurship television series, Dragons' Den , from 2005 to 2012.

He worked as a sales assistant for Watches of Switzerland and a mortgage salesman for Legal & General before starting his first company.

He was a supporter of Brexit in 2016. He tweets about business and entrepreneurship on his TheoPaphitis Twitter account, where he has earned more than 490,000 followers. In late 2022, he appeared on BBC Question Time, which is a debate program, to share his thoughts on climate protests and the morality of politicians.

He grew up with two brothers, Marinos and George. He and his wife Debbie have five children.

He has appeared alongside Evan Davis on Dragons' Den.
