ABOUT THEDRIC MORTON JR.
Rapper, vocalist, entertainer, artist, performer, and musician who performed under the name Bankboy Wayne. His most popular and well-known songs included "Dope Boy," "All Facts," and "Slide." He was a rising star in the Memphis rap scene prior to his untimely and unexpected passing.
He joined Instagram in August of 2016.
His vocals were used on Casino Jizzle's 2023 album Duh. He was shot to death in November of 2019. In an interview, Preston Gray, a music producer who goes by Hitman PG and produced several songs for Morton, said, "BankBoy Wayne - that's what I knew him by. We communicated through music. But he was always a pretty cool guy. Down to Earth."
His mother said she thought jealousy was the motive behind his death.
He collaborated with artists such as Lil Migo and Jay Dunna.
