Professional baseball outfielder and athlete. He was an MLB player who played for several renowned teams such as the New York Mets , San Diego Padres , Kansas City Royals , New York Yankees , and the Oakland Athletics . He stands 6'1" tall and weighs roughly 190 pounds.
He attended Millbrook High School before transferring to Stanhope Elmore High School, where he graduated, and was drafted by the New York Mets minor league.
He signed a minor league contract with the Yankees and was soon after called to the major league level to cover for Hideki Matsui who was injured at the time. He played around 12 games with the team, and in total has batted in 376 runs and has had 69 home runs.
He was born in Montgomery Alabama. His oldest son, Jalon, became a pitcher at Stanford University, and his youngest son, Kyrin, after graduating in the year 2021, planned to continue his studies.
He was promoted to the Mets after players Rick Reed and Mike Piazza contracted injuries.
