ABOUT TEDDY DIAZ

Guitarist and songwriter who founded the Filipino rock band The Dawn and was responsible for songs like "Enveloped Ideas."

He studied architecture at the University of the Philippines and then, after three years, he took up the guitar instead.

At the height of his career, he was stabbed and killed in his girlfriend's driveway in Quezon City.

He had two brothers named Carl and Loren.

Ely Buendia was another well-known Filipino musician.
