Shortstop known for playing in the Major Leagues with the Tampa Bay Rays . He debuted with the team in May 2021.

He played baseball with the Crisp County High School in Cordele, Georgia. He then played in college with Florida State University .

He was selected in the third round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft by the Tampa Bay Rays.

He is married to a woman named Hallie. They had their first child, April, in April 2021.

He is teammates with Wander Franco on the Tampa Bay Rays.
