ABOUT TAYLOR MCKEOWN
Former competitive swimmer who won a gold medal in the 200 meter breaststroke at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and a silver medal at the 4 × 100 m medley relay during the 2016 Summer Olympics. She announced her retirement from competitive swimming after the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
In 2010, she won her first national titles in the 100m and 200m breaststroke at the age of 15. In 2012, she graduated from Grace Lutheran College. She studied Animal Ecology at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
She began working at Adreno Freediving in 2021. She has also been the swimming coach at Griffith University and at Achievers Swim Academy.
Her mother is Sharon McKeown. Her sister is Olympic champion swimmer Kaylee McKeown .
In June 2022, she posted a photo alongside swimmer Emma McKeon .
