ABOUT TANG XIJING
Olympic gymnast and athlete who primarily competes in the women's balance beam, all-around, uneven bars and team events. As a member of the Chinese national team, she has represented her country during the Asian Gymnastics Championships, the Asian Games and the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
She won her first gold medal as teenager during the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. She placed first in the women's balance beam event.
After placing silver at the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, she became the first Chinese woman to place second or better in the women's all-around event. She was just 16 years old at the time. She later retired from gymnastics in March of 2024.
She grew living with her family in Guangdong, China.
She competed at the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics just like Evan Fournier and Kevin Durant .
