ABOUT TAKA MICHINOKU

Japanese wrestler who rose to international fame after making his ECW debut in the year 1997. That same year, he became the first WWF Light Heavyweight Champion. In the year 2019, he founded the wrestling promotion and training facility Professional Wrestling Just Tap Out.

He was mentored by wrestling icon The Great Sasuke.

He has had a number of different ring names including Pepe Michinoku and Piza Michinoku. In the year 1997, he fought in a mixed martial arts match against Keiichiro Yamamiya.

His real name is Takao Yoshida. He has often featured his son in photos posted to his takam69 Instagram account. He has a pet cat that is often featured on the content of said account.

He teamed up with Yoshihiro Tajiri for a wrestling match in the year 1999.
