ABOUT TAIYO MARCHAND

Musician and social media star who is best known for competing in the The Voice Kids France in 2023, making it to the semi-finals. On his Instagram account taiyomarchand, which is partially managed by his father, he posts videos of his busking and original songs that he records at home for his more than 750,000 followers. He plays music hits from all over the world.

He began busking in Sydney at the age of six.

Growing up, his parents taught him their home languages by having him speak with his mother in Japanese and his father in French.

He is of Japanese and French ancestry. His younger sister, Saya, has cerebral palsy. His parents are Sachiko and Julien Marchand.
