ABOUT SVEN SUNDGAARD

Meteorologist, weatherman, Instagram star, online content creator, and social media personality who worked at Minnesota's MPR News and KARE 11. In April 2020, he was fired from KARE 11 after sharing a Facebook post from his rabbi that was criticizing anti-lockdown protesters.

He grew up on a hobby farm in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.

In the year 2010, he converted to Judaism. In the year 2021, he filed a lawsuit against KARE 11 and its parent company Tegna claiming discrimination over his sexual orientation and religious beliefs. He earned more than 20,000 followers on his explorewithsvensundgaard Instagram account.

He ran a real estate business with his boyfriend, Robert McEachren. His father was a farmer and a scientist.
