Award-winning fashion designer, author, actress, model, and reality star dubbed "The African Fashion Icon that Conquered Australia" by SatisfashionUG. In 2022, she competed in the premiere season of The Challenge : Australia. She is the author of several children's books and her memoir, The Immigrant that Found Her Unapologetic Voice, was listed as one of Amazon's Top Sellers following its release in March 2023. Her suzan_mutesi Instagram account, which boasts over 1.2 million followers, features travel and event photos, and collaborations with brands such as Nike and L'Oreal.

As a teenager, she drew inspiration from the fashion magazines printed at the factory where she worked. After high school, she was accepted into the Raffles KvB Institute of Technology, where she earned a bachelor's degree in fashion and apparel design.

She was named Australian Designer of the Year for 2 years in a row, in 2011 and 2012. She also earned the Fashion Icon of the Year Award at the Afro-Australia Music and Movie Awards in September 2014.

She grew up in Uganda and moved to Australia with her family when she was in high school. In 2022, she briefly dated comedian and TV personality David Walliams .

As a fashion designer, she has dressed celebrities including Rihanna and Miss World 2011 Erin Holland . In 2013, she co-hosted the African Australian Music and Movie Awards with Desmond Elliot and John Dumelo .
