ABOUT SUE AIKENS

Reality television star and producer who is best known for the Emmy-winning National Geographic show Life Below Zero . Other film projects and shows she has been a part of include Panama and Flying Wild Alaska.

She began living in the remote area of Alaska when her friend asked her to take over his camp. The Life Below Zero show began airing in the year 2013.

She runs a camp called the Kavik River Camp. It is located near the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. On her Instagram page, she has posted stills of the Aurora Borealis.

She has a daughter and a son who had children of their own, making her a grandmother.

In the year 2014, she was a guest on the Joe Rogan podcast. In the year 2019, she was interviewed on an episode of Ellen hosted by Melissa McCarthy .
