ABOUT STEVIE CRAWFORD YOUNG JR.

Scottish-Australian musician, entertainer, performer, vocalist, singer, guitarist, instrumentalist, and artist who is known for being the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the Australian rock band AC/DC since the year 2014.

He grew up with an interest and passion for music. He began playing guitar in the 19700s and then began performing live. His band Starfighters was formed in the year 1980, and it was a support band for AC/DC on multiple occasions.

His original band Starfighters opened several dates for Ozzy Osbourne in the year 1982. For the Rock or Bust tour, Young used Marshall Amplifiers with Celestion Creamback and Classic Lead 80 speakers as part of his touring set-up.

He was born in Glasgow, Scotland but immigrated to Sydney Australia as a child with his family. He is the nephew of Malcolm Young and Angus Young from AC/DC. He has three children.

He replaced his uncle Malcolm Young in AC/C once his uncle could no longer perform due to dementia in 2014. Brian Johnson confirmed this and they have been performing together in AC/DC since this change.
