ABOUT STEVEN WILSON

Right-handed reliever that was drafted by the San Diego Padres during the eighth round of the 2018 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at Santa Clara University .

He is a graduate of Dakota Ridge Public High School in Littleton, Colorado. Although he chose Santa Clara, he was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies during the 2012 MLB Draft.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 9, 2022. He pitched just one inning and collected one strikeout. As an MLB pitcher, he has recorded over 50 strikeouts through the course of his career.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Littleton, Colorado area. He is one of six siblings.

He is a former Santa Clara collegiate athlete just like former two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash .
