ABOUT STEVE SOTO
Tattoo artist from California who is known for posting a variety of black and white work to his over 200,000 Instagram followers. His work features a variety of subjects from portraits to intricate designs.
He first began drawing at a very young age with graphite and excelled quickly. He began with an apprentice under the artist Billy Dyson. In 2001, he began touring nation wide to give tattoos.
He has won several awards for his work including Best Black and Gray artist at Barcelona Tattoo Festival in 2007 and Best Tattoo of the Day at Sydney Tattoo Show in 2010.
He was born and raised in Orange County, California and is the oldest son of two Mexican immigrant parents.
He posted a picture with Corey Miller at the opening reception for the Natural History Museum's exhibition on the history of tattoo culture.
