ABOUT STEVE POOL

Famous as the weatherman for Seattle's KOMO-TV channel and as the host of a news segment called Front Runners, he won over a dozen Emmy Awards during his lengthy career.

While studying at the University of Washington in the early 1970s, he began interning for KOMO-TV.

He and fellow KOMO News personalities Kathi Goertzen and Dan Lewis worked together for over two decades.
