Former NHL center who suffered a career-ending neck injury in 2004 while playing for the Colorado Avalanche.
He played four seasons of college hockey at Harvard University.
He had an unsuccessful lawsuit against his on-ice attacker, Vancouver Canucks winger Todd Bertuzzi .
He grew up with two brothers, Dominick and Mark.
He was teammates with Joe Sakic from 2001 to 2004.
