ABOUT STEVE HENDERSON
Former left fielder whose MLB career spanned from 1977 to 1988.
He was selected in the fifth round of the 1974 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds after playing baseball at Prairie View A&M University.
He became hitting coach of the Philadelphia Phillies in 2013.
He married Pam Henderson in 1978.
He was acquired by the New York Mets in 1977 during a trade barrage known as the "Midnight Massacre," where the team acquired a great number of players and traded away unhappy star pitcher Tom Seaver .
