His first PGA Tour win came in the HP Classic of New Orleans in 2003, and he earned an exciting comeback victory in the 2004 Bank of America Colonial.
He attended Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky.
He won the Reno-Tahoe Open in 2007 by five strokes.
He raised two children, Lily and Griffin.
He finished tied for seventh in the 2004 U.S. Open, which was won by Retief Goosen .
