Guitarist and songwriter for the English rock band Def Leppard. He released four albums with the band and was credited on the fifth.
He was given his first guitar at the age of eleven.
Classic Rock Magazine ranked him as #11 on their Wildest Guitar Heroes list. He was found dead on his couch at the age of 30.
He was engaged to Lorelei Shellist, a supermodel, at the time of his death. He had two brothers, Kevin and Christopher.
He was replaced by Vivian Campbell in Def Leppard.
