ABOUT STEVE BUSBY

Former MLB pitcher who became a two-time All-Star during his nine-year stint with the Kansas City Royals. He has the rare distinction of having pitched two no-hitters during his career.

He was a star at the University of Southern California after being drafted by the Royals in the second round of the 1971 MLB Draft.

He won consecutive College World Series titles in 1970 and 1971.

His father was a professional football player.

He won the 1971 College World Series with USC teammate and future nine-time MLB All-Star Fred Lynn .
