ABOUT STEVE BROOKER

English striker best known for his years with Port Vale, Bristol City and Buxton, having won the Football League Trophy title with Port Vale in 2001. He was named Bristol City Player of the Season for the 2005-06 season.

He came up through the Watford youth system before making his senior debut in 1999.

He and Bristol City teammates Bradley Orr and David Partridge spent two weeks in prison for their role in a nightclub fight in 2005.
