ABOUT STEVE AOKI

Electro house music DJ and producer who had his first big hit with the 2009 single "I'm in the House." By the time he released his first album, Wonderland (2012), he'd become one of the highest grossing DJs in North America. He has collaborated on tracks and records with several prominent artists including Iggy Azalea , will.i.am , LMFAO and Linkin Park .

He played on Newport Harbor High School's badminton team.

He founded the independent record label Dim Mak in 1996.  In 2021 he sold a NFT called "hairy" for $888,888, which at the time was one of the most successful NFT sales of all-time.

He grew up with two brothers, Kevin and Kyle. His younger sister Devon Aoki is a well-known model. He also has sisters: Jenifer, Kana, and Echo. He was married to Tiernan Cowling from 2015 until 2017. In 2024, he married Sasha Sofiine. They are currently expecting their first child together.

He collaborated with Kid Cudi on the single "Cudi the Kid" in 2012.
