ABOUT STEPHEN BAUMAN
Painter who is known for his classical style. He often works in oil paint and focuses mainly of portraiture. He shares his finished paintings and processes with his over 550,000 Instagram followers.
After spending a decade in Europe both studying and teaching, he began to teach art in Jersey City. He moved up in the school and eventually became the Director of the Anatomy and Ecorche programs.
His works have been featured in a variety of publications including the book Lessons in Classical Drawing by Juliette Aristides. He is also known for having his work featured on the cover of Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine.
He was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee.
