ABOUT STEPHANIE WILLIAMS

Ballet dancer and filmmaker who launched her professional career at the Australian Ballet school. She went on to dance with the Australian Ballet, and eventually ended up with the Dutch National Ballet in 2011. In 2012, she joined the American Ballet Theater as part of the corps de ballet. She is also one half of the creative duo, Palm Face. Together they combine filmmaking, photography, dance, and choreography.

At the age of eight, she began studying ballet with Marie Walton-Mahon.

In 2009, she was won the Telstra Ballet Dancer Award and Telstra People's Choice Award. She graduated from the Australian Ballet school in 2006. Her wheresmytutu Instagram account features dance portraits, work from Palm Face, and family portraits. She has accrued 10,000 followers on the platform.

Her son, Taylor Edward Petersen, was born January 7, 2021.
