ABOUT STEPHANE ROUSSEAU

Actor and comedian who has won acclaim for his work in a number of French-Canadian films, including The Barbarian Invasions (2002),  Asterix at the Olympic Games (2008) and Wedding Unplanned (2017). His performance in The Barbarian Invasions earned him a Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role.

He got his start performing stand-up comedy when he was just 13 years old.

He collaborated with Alexandra Lamy on the soundtrack to the romantic comedy Modern Love (2008).

He has a son named Axel with ex-wife Maud Saint-Germain.

He was directed by Denys Arcand in The Barbarian Invasions.
