ABOUT STEFAN OLSDAL
Guitarist and bassist for the alternative band Placebo and the electronic project Hotel Persona. He also worked as a producer for Lantana.
He played in an orchestra as a teenager and later attended the Musicians' Institute in London.
He played a Gibson Thunderbird.
An openly gay man, he entered a committed relationship in the mid-1990s.
He and Hotel Persona recorded remixes for many musical groups, including Josh Homme 's band Queens of the Stone Age.
