Sudanese rapper who established himself in the Arabic rap scene in 2021 with the release of his EP, Nomadic. He is known for hits like "Donia" (2025), "SUITS" (2024), "CA VA" (2024) and "London" (2024). He has over 340,000 followers on Instagram under the handle souljamusic.
He has been making music since he was in high school, and released his EP, Nomadic, in 2021.
Because of the war in the Sudan, he didn't release his first full-length album, Déjà vu, until 2024. In his own words, "the war took away my small comfort zone that I created for myself, something I've almost forgotten. Music has been a part of my survival, a lifeline evolving just as I have, in response to the circumstances." His most recent single, "Donia," dropped on June 6, 2025 and already has over a million views on YouTube.
He grew up Usama 'Soulja' Ashraf, living in Sudan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. He credits his mother, Maria, for his success and ability to keep persisting in the face of hardship.
He has collaborated with other rappers, like 310babii and dafencii .
