ABOUT SOFIANE DIOP

Professional midfielder that was signed by the AS Monaco Football Club in 2018. He was later acquired by the Sochaux Football Club via loan transfer in 2019.

He began his soccer career playing for the Tours Football Club's youth squad in 2006.

He made his professional club debut playing against Paris Saint-Germain FC on August 4, 2018 as a member of Monaco.

He grew up living with his family in Tours, France.

He played alongside Wissam Ben Yedder as a member of Monaco during the 2021-2022 club season.
