Simon Viklund

ABOUT SIMON VIKLUND

Swedish composer and sound designer who is widely recognized for his work on video game soundtracks. He is credited for having composed the music for Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and Payday: The Heist.

He began to learn the violin at the age of 8 and towards the end of the 1990's he was using computer programs to write music.

In 2009 he founded the video game company Overkill Software.

He is originally from Stockholm, Sweden.

He has cited Keith Flint and the other members of Prodigy as being major influences on his musical stylings.
