Simon Poidevin

ABOUT SIMON POIDEVIN

Won the 1991 Rugby World Cup with Australian and later became a television commentator for the Seven Network and Network Ten.

He played for the Australian Schoolboy side before making his first-grade debut with the University of New South Wales rugby union team in 1978.

He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to rugby union football in 1988.

He was born in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia.

He was teammates with John Eales on the Wallabies team that won the 1991 Rugby World Cup.
