ABOUT SIMON KIRKE
Blues and rock drummer known for his work with the bands Bad Company and Free. Also a songwriter, he released a solo album entitled Seven Rays of Hope.
He left school at age seventeen to pursue a career in music, playing early in his career with bands like Black Cat Bones.
He admired the music of Aretha Franklin .
He had two daughters with his wife Lorraine Kirke.
He toured with Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band.
