ABOUT SIMON BASS
British composer who wrote music for many popular television shows, including Eurotrash, Fortean TV and Carnal Knowledge. In 2007, he was nominated for the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors' British Composer of the Year Award.
He was a Choral Scholar at Worcester College, Oxford, where he studied under Robert Sherlaw Johnson.
He won the Silver Lion at the 2009 Cannes Advertising Festival for his work on the anti-knife PSA "Knifecrime."
His father served in the Royal Navy.
He composed the music for the stage play Up For Grabs, starring pop superstar Madonna .
