Rugby union centre who became known as a representative for Yamaha Jubilo in the Japanese Top League and played internationally for Tonga.
He played for the Counties Manukau side during the 2006 Air New Zealand Cup.
He signed with a Japanese rugby team for 2013 after being sidelined by injuries for much of 2012.
His younger brother Charles Piutau became a professional rugby player as well.
He and Rodney Blake both represented Tonga in international play.
