Model and travel writer who was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 2003 film Ishq Vishk.
She studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, St. Xavier's College-Autonomous, and New York University.
A photographer discovered her when she was a freshman in college, and soon afterwards she modeled for Gold Spot.
Her father was a merchant marine engineer and a Gujarati Parsi.
