Nationally certified school psychologist who made a name for herself penning, A Funeral for My Fat: My Journey to Lay 100 Pounds to Rest, which talks about her incredible weight loss journey. She also authored a blog under the same name that gives more frequent updates.

At 17, she weighed 256 pounds and it was then that she realized she'd hit rock bottom. She would later earn an education specialist degree in school psychology.

She has an eponymous YouTube channel where she has posted vlogs about weight loss, beauty tutorials, and inspirational videos.

She settled with her husband in Federal Way, Washington. She has one sister.

Both she and Jacqueline Adan gained fame writing about their weight loss journeys on their blogs.
