Shane Steichen

ABOUT SHANE STEICHEN

American football coach who is best recognized for being the head coach for the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL. He previously served as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Chargers from the years 2014 to 2020 and as the offensive coordinator in the year 2020 for the Philadelphia Eagles .

He graduated from Oak Ridge High School. He eventually earned his degree in journalism and media studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas , where he was also a four-year letterman as quarterback from the years 2003 to 2006.

He also previously served as an assistant coach for the Cleveland Browns . He is quite tall, standing at 6'3".

His older brother Sean was a punter at Boise State. He and his wife Nina have a son named Hudson and a daughter named Stella.

In the year 2013, he was hired by the Cleveland Browns as an offensive quality control coach under head coach Rob Chudzinski .
