Most notable for his twelve-year role of Dr. Terence Elliott in the Seven Network's drama series A Country Practice. He received Silver Logie in 1992 for his portrayal.
Some of his earlier work includes roles in the series Certain Women, The Box, and Number 96.
He has appeared in the popular Australian soap operas Neighbours and Home and Away.
He married his fiancee, Jenny, and has three children named Fiona, Polly, and Ben.
He performed in a stage adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing, a Shakespearean tale which Joss Whedon adapted for the screen in 2013.
