ABOUT SERGIU POBEREZNIC
Dancer with The Royal Ballet and The Birmingham Royal Ballet. He performed in such ballets as The Nutcracker and Swan Lake and in such modern dance pieces as Enigma Variations and Agon.
Prior to joining The Royal Ballet, he trained at The Royal Ballet School.
He was transferred from The Royal Ballet to The Birmingham Royal Ballet, where he was promoted to Principal dancer right away.
He was born in Romania, and he later settled in England.
He and Alina Cojocaru were both Romanian-born dancers with The Royal Ballet.
