Three-time NHL All-Star goaltender best known for his stints with the New Jersey Devils and Phoenix Coyotes.

He played youth hockey in Toronto.

He was drafted 24th overall in 1985 by the Devils.

His son Brendan Burke was drafted by the Coyotes in 2013.

He played alongside right wing Shane Doan on the Coyotes.
