ABOUT SCOTT THORNTON
Forward who made his NHL debut in 1990 with the Toronto Maple Leafs and later played for the Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, San Jose Sharks, and LA Kings.
He played in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association in 1985-1986.
He was the third overall pick in the 1989 NHL draft.
All-Star center Joe Thornton is his first cousin.
Left winger Vincent Damphousse was his teammate on the Maple Leafs.
