ABOUT SCOTT PRINGLE

Guitarist and mandolin player known as a member of the bluegrass band The Dead South . He is also a singer and songwriter. In 2012, he was one of the band's founding members. He is known for his work on their studio albums Good Company, Illusion and Doubt, and Sugar & Joy.

He graduated from the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada.

He is an avid rock climber. His band has referred to itself as Mumford & Sons ' Evil Twins. In 2016, his band canceled its German tour abruptly. He told CBC Radio's Morning Edition the cancellation was due to his bandmate, Colton Crawford's insomnia.

He grew up in Regina Saskatchewan.

His fellow band members included Nate Hilts , Danny Kenyon, Eliza Mary Doyle and Erik Mehlsen.
