American comedian, writer, and stage and screen actor known for his politically and socially-themed stand-up acts. He also hosted television programs called That Gay Show and The Truth About Gay Animals.

Early in his career, he won a "Best Newcomer" award for his work at the famous Edinburgh Festival.

In the late 1990s, he voiced the role of Beed Annodue in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
