ABOUT SCOOTER GENNETT

MLB second baseman who debuted with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2013. In 2017, he signed with the Cincinnati Reds .  He hit 4 home runs in one game in 2017 against the St. Louis Cardinals .

He played baseball at Sarasota High School in Florida and was selected by the Brewers in the 16th round of the 2009 MLB Draft.

He was rated as the Brewers' eighth best prospect in 2013 and the best hitter for average in their minor league system by Baseball America.

His real name is Ryan Joseph Gennett. His father Joe was a scout with the Astros, and he moved his family from Cincinnati to Florida so Scooter could play baseball year-round.

His first major league home run came off Bronson Arroyo in 2013.
