ABOUT SATO KOICHI
Japanese actor who starred in various film and television roles, including the 1994 film, Tokarev. He has won numerous awards, including a 2004 Japanese Academy Best Supporting Actor Award for his role in the 2003 film, When the Last Sword is Drawn.
He was born and raised in Tokyo and made his debut in the 1981 film, The Gate of Youth.
