She was born in Calhoun, Georgia and is known for infusing her comedy with a southern perspective.

She also co-hosts two podcasts, southern comedy podcast Fried with Jon Reep and Riggle's Picks with The Daily Show alum Rob Riggle .

She has a sister named JoAnna and a pitbull named Maverick.

She is an avid sports fan and appeared on an episode of Go90's The 5th Quarter called "The Parkour Boys" with Breckin Meyer .
