ABOUT SARAH-JANE CLARKE

Fashion designer and one-half of the Sass & bide women's fashion label. Her line is well-known for being worn by the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker , Madonna , Rihanna and Beyonce .

She met co-founder Heidi Middleton in school in the early 1990s and they started selling customized jeans in a stall on London's Portobello Road Market.

Their first seasonal collection debuted at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in 2001.

She's married to architect Dan Baffsky.

She was comissioned by Sarah Jessica Parker to make a few one-off pieces for Sex and the City.
