ABOUT SANDY ALOMAR SR.

MLB second baseman who played in the major leagues for almost 14 years.

He played his first two years with the Milwaukee Braves, who later moved to Atlanta.

Although he had a number of solid seasons, he made the All-Star team only once, in 1970.

His sons Roberto and Sandy Jr. both had successful MLB careers.

He was on the 1970 All-Stream along with the Cleveland Indians Ray Fosse .
